We built the tool we always wished we had riding shotgun: a fast, fair way to keep shared travel costs straight without anyone reaching for a calculator or a signal bar.
Our mission is simple — take the friction out of moving together. Fuel, tolls, snacks, and shared driving stints should never sour a good drive. ChitGo turns the messy arithmetic of group travel into something instant and obvious.

ChitGo: Share Ride is built on one straightforward promise: the app runs entirely on your device, and it does not collect, store, or transmit any of your information. Here's exactly what that means.
Nothing. ChitGo doesn't ask you to create an account, and it doesn't gather your name, email, phone number, location, or any usage analytics. The trip details you enter — fuel costs, toll amounts, the number of travelers, driving shares, and notes — live only on your phone. We never see them, and neither does anyone else.
Because we don't collect anything, there's nothing for us to use, read, analyze, profile, or sell. Every calculation — splitting fuel, tallying tolls, balancing shared driving — happens locally on your device, in the moment, and then stays there. Your data is never the product.
Anything you enter is stored on your device alone. There's no ChitGo cloud, no remote server, and no synchronization to an outside system. Your trip records don't leave your phone unless you choose to share them yourself, manually, through tools you already control.
ChitGo contains no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, no trackers, and no embedded marketing SDKs. We don't hand your activity to outside companies, because there's no activity leaving your device for anyone to receive.
By keeping everything on-device and sending nothing over the network for its core features, ChitGo dramatically reduces the ways your information could be exposed. There are no servers to breach and no central database of your trips — your information is as secure as the phone in your pocket.
ChitGo doesn't knowingly collect data from anyone — and that includes children under 13. Since no personal information is gathered from any user, the app is COPPA-friendly by design. There's simply nothing for a child, or anyone, to disclose to us.
You hold the keys. Your trip data stays under your control at all times, and you can clear it anytime by deleting entries or removing the app. Because there are no accounts and no backups on our end, uninstalling ChitGo erases its data from your device for good — no lingering copies on a server somewhere.
If this policy ever changes, we'll update the text here and revise the effective date above so you can always see when it was last adjusted. Any update keeps the same core commitment: ChitGo doesn't collect your data.
